Since the introduction of mobile and also the reduced patience of the average user, speed is now key for your online presence.

Time to Interactive refers to the time it takes for a page to become fully functional, allowing users to engage with it seamlessly.

Evaluates the speed and usability of your site on both mobile and desktop devices, offering suggestions to enhance performance.

GTmetrix

GT Metrix is good because it provides a comprehensive report on page load details and offers actionable recommendations.

Pingdom

Helps to test the speed of your website from multiple locations worldwide and tracks its performance over time.

All these metrics combine to outline the key features and components of web page load speeds. If you stay on the right side of the test results, then you are more than halfway there to not being negatively affected by website speed.

Ultimately, a fast-loading landing page creates a positive first impression and encourages users to explore further which is what search engines want, and ultimately the end-user.

It is also helpful because it can help reduce bounce rates, increases engagement, and ultimately leads to higher conversion rates.

Monitoring your webpage speed isn’t a one-time task but an ongoing commitment.

Most webmasters when setting up a website or a page will simply check it once usually at the start, and then leave the page to its own devices and never check again, or at least not for a very long time.
