WordPress Themes Free & Premium

WordPress Themes come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. To get a fair range of the latest Themes on your dashboard simply go to

Appearance -> Themes.

What you will find in the FREE Theme Section is a reasonable range of basic themes, that may do the job for many people.

Even the most basic of websites or blogs may still look fine with a reasonably designed theme. Try it and see. the main drawback to a free website, generally speaking, can be the lack of options.

With a Paid Premium Theme, what you tend to get is choice and more options.

This is often noticed should you go to one of the main areas to tweak and change a website,

Appearance -> Customisation.

In short, the more you pay the easier a theme cm be to work with, as the work has already been done for you, that’s generally a good rule of thumb.

With that said, here are my choices when it comes to choosing a Theme for your website.

Paid Premium Themes for WordPress

Kadence

My own personal favourite wordpress theme is Kadence, you’ll know this as even this website was built with a Kdance theme. You can download Kadence and later upgrade as the extra features are well worth the price.

It’s slick, relatively easy to use, although there is a bit of a learning curve, but you’ll find that with most themes anyway. However after a few days working with it, I was up to speed with it and I’m sure you will be to.

Nice Pages

If I was to Recommend another WordPress theme it would be Nice Pages. It comes with a huge range of templates you can choose from all used easily with no coding required.
